During the 2008 Presidential Campaign, TaskForce developed and ran the “Hope Campaign” engaging more than 2,000 iconic artists and cultural influencers across America, using grassroots and cultural organizing strategy to develop a creative movement to support Barack Obama. As part of this effort, TaskForce partnered with and others to create Manifest Hope art show during the Democratic National Convention, which was attended by more than 15,000 people and the Manifest Hope show during the 2008 Presidential Inauguration.
